I'm not that good either--or at least I don't like drawing them. Haha! Sometimes I think it helps to start out with simple things like what I did (i.e. some minimalist cathedrals and such with some sand dunes and a moon); I think it's really easy to get bogged down with a ton of detail in the background and then want to stop drawing...
